Famous VOX users! And some not so famous Vox users. And just users that are so cool you can't believe it.
Brian Jones
Undoubtedly, the most famous user of Vox guitars was Brian Jones, the founding member of The Rolling Stones. Shown here with his British made Mark III.
Keith Richards
Primarily know as a Tele user, Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones used a variety of guitars in their early years. Here he appears ecstatic over the sounds he is getting from this originally designated Mark III 12 String.

Phil 'FANG'Volk
Phil Volk was the original bassist for Paul Revere and the Raiders. His favorite bass during those years was his Phantom IV.
Phil was presented a new Vox Bass at Voxfest 2000. The bass was built by Gary at Northcoast Music. His old Vox is currently on display at the Experience Music Project in Seattle.
BIll Wyman
Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones with his famous 'Wyman Bass'. Bill reportedly didn't really like the bass that much. But being Bill, he marched on and played it during his endorsement period.
Tony Hicks
Tony Hicks of The Hollies was an 'All-Vox Man'! Shown here with his Phantom XII.
UNKNOWN
Unidentified Vox Teardrop user. Clearly, this guy is groovy beyond words. Perhaps one of The Strawberry Alarm Clock or The Syndicate of Sound? E-Mail me if you know.
Hilton Valentine
Hilton used this MARK III 12 String on 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood'. Vox gave him the guitar but it's whereabouts are unknown today. Hilton is still looking for it! Maybe Keith Richards snagged it (see pic).

Greg Kihn
A fresh face in the late 70's music scene using a Phantom XII ! Greg had great hits like JEOPARDY and THE BREAKUP SONG.
The Electric Prunes
Fuzzed out Lynx's, turned on Phantoms, psychedelia at it's best -- and awfully nice folk!
Tom Petty
Tom Petty uses every cool guitar in the book, so of course he's a fan of the Vox Mark VI!
Dave Wakeling
Dave Wakeling of The English Beat - a Vox fan and also now an endorser of Phantom Guitar works.
